POM ima visoko natezno trdnost, trdoto, nizek koeficient trenja in odli\u010dno dimenzijsko stabilnost. Poleg tega je zelo tog, \u017eilav tudi pri nizkih temperaturah in kemijsko odporen. Ima odli\u010dne obrabne in drsne lastnosti, dobre elektroizolacijske lastnosti in visoko prebojno trdnost.<\/p>\n<p>POM je uporaben v temperaturnem obmo\u010dju od -40\u00b0C do 105\u00b0C, za kraj\u0161i \u010das tudi do 140\u00b0C. Izpeljanke, kot so POM+PTFE, POM GF30 in POM+PE, \u0161e dodatno izbolj\u0161ujejo trenje in obrabno odpornost. POM je odporen na alkohole, bencin in druge organske medije. Poznamo HDPE (PE300), HMWPE (PE500), ter UHMWPE (PE1000). Razlikujejo se po molekulski masi ter mehanskih lastnostih. Temperaturno obmo\u010dje do 95\u00b0C, kraj\u0161i \u010das do 120\u00b0C. Material se lomi pri -50\u00b0C. Obstojen je v razred\u010denih kislinah, alkoholih, oljih, HDPE tudi v bencinu. Primeren je za stik z \u017eivili. Lepljenje zaradi nepolarnosti ni priporo\u010dljivo. Ima odli\u010dne elektroizolacijske lastnosti. Se vari. Za PE1000 je zna\u010dilna manj\u0161a gostota 0.94 g\/cm3 (HDPE 0.96 g\/cm3) kar mu izbolj\u0161a koli\u010dnik trenja ter obrabno ter udarno odpornost. Uporaba PE1000; vodila, transportni trakovi, podajalni sistemi, strojni deli \u010drpalk in drugo. Sorazmerno lahka tehni\u010dna plastika s specifi\u010dno gostoto 0.93 g\/cm3. \u00a0Pogosto se uporablja v medicini in farmaciji. Odporen je na zunanje vremenske vplive, UV sevanje, gama \u017earke in \u0161tevilne kemi\u010dne snovi. PVDF je samogasen z minimalnimi emisijami dima. Je zelo dober elektri\u010dni izolator. Ne absorbira vode, ni toksi\u010den. Primeren je za stik z \u017eivili. Mehanska obdelava je enostavna kot pri PA. Vari se s klasi\u010dnimi varilnimi metodami. ABS sodi v skupino la\u017ejih polimerov, skupaj s PE in PP. Glavne lastnosti; majhna absorpcija vode, dobra trdnost, togost in trdota, zmerno temperaturno obmo\u010dje uporabe, dobra dimenzijska stabilnost in odpornost na toplotno deformacijo, enostaven za Zaradi transparentnosti PC pogosto uporabljamo za opti\u010dno \u010diste dele, v elektrotehniki in medicini. Izpeljanka z dodatkom stekla PC GF30 zvi\u0161a trdnost in togost (E modul), nekoliko zni\u017ea \u017eilavost. Dobre elektroizolacijske lastnoti so neodvisne od vlage in temperature. Uporabljamo ga za varnostne revizijske za\u0161\u010dite, razna ohi\u0161ja, table, ohi\u0161ja filtrov, medicinski elementi. Neobstojen je v alkoholih, vro\u010di vodi, oljih in ma\u0161\u010dobah, kislinah in bazah. UV ni stabilen. Za strojno obdelavo potrebujemo ostrta orodja. Nekateri uporabniki ga pred strojno obdelavo zamrznejo s \u010dimer si olaj\u0161ajo stru\u017eenje oziroma rezkanje. Je nepolaren zato ima dobre elektroizolacijske lastnosti zanemarljive dielektri\u010dne izgube. PSU je termi\u010dno stabilen z majhnim koeficientom toplotnega raztezanja. Obstojen je v bencinu, olju, alkoholih, nekaterih kislinah in bazah. Pri strojni obdelavi ne hladimo oziroma ne ma\u017eemo. Material lahko poliramo.
